CVPeople Tanzania is hiring a Knowledge, Learning and Research Specialist to join their team in Dar es Salaam. This role is pivotal in enhancing the effectiveness of program implementation by promoting knowledge management, evidence utilization, and learning. The successful candidate will collaborate across departments to support strategic learning and research initiatives.
Job Summary
This position aims to strengthen organizational performance by facilitating knowledge sharing, designing learning platforms, and promoting data-driven decision-making. The role involves developing knowledge systems, managing learning programs, and conducting insightful research to guide innovation and growth. It also requires ensuring alignment with global safeguarding and inclusion policies.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Management
- Design and implement the organization’s Knowledge Management Strategy and Framework.
- Develop and manage knowledge systems, repositories, and guidelines.
- Conduct knowledge audits and ensure up-to-date and accessible resources.
- Lead initiatives for internal knowledge sharing, learning, and best practices.
- Organize and facilitate learning workshops and activities for stakeholders.
Learning and Development
- Identify learning needs and create tailored solutions and materials.
- Support the development and management of e-learning platforms and digital content.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning tools and make improvements.
- Collaborate with the ICT team to enhance e-learning platforms.
- Coordinate learning events and manage content rollout schedules.
Research and Analysis
- Conduct and implement research methodologies to inform decision-making.
- Analyse data to draw insights and guide innovation.
- Contribute to publications, technical presentations, grants, and knowledge products.
- Develop dashboards to visualize monitoring and evaluation findings.
- Forecast research trends and integrate innovative approaches.
Compliance and Policy Integration
- Ensure full compliance with organization’s policies on Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEIP).
- Promote awareness of these policies across teams and partner organizations.
- Ensure proper procedures are followed when handling concerns or violations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in knowledge management, research, or learning and development.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with digital learning tools, data analysis, and report writing.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity, safeguarding, and ethical standards.
