CSI Energy Group is looking for a dedicated Site HR Officer to join our team. You will manage recruitment, payroll, compliance, subcontractor relations, and more, helping build a safe, engaged, and productive workforce.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational
- Process all Recruitment Request Forms (RRF) promptly.
- Ensure all pre-employment requirements are met: medical exams, job descriptions, PPE, contracts.
- Conduct HR site inductions and manage onboarding documentation.
- Manage payroll reporting, deductions, absenteeism verification, payslip distribution, and timely payroll data submission to HQ.
- Collect and record attendance and approved overtime accurately.
- Oversee subcontractor compliance with site rules and Tanzanian labour laws.
- Maintain master lists of subcontracted employees and monitor attendance, entry, and exit records.
- Report discrepancies and non-compliance issues.
2. Planning
- Keep HR documentation regularly updated.
- Manage discipline and timekeeping among site personnel.
- Maintain personnel records including sickness, absenteeism, and holidays.
- Ensure all employment contracts are valid and current.
- Report site HR matters to the HR Lead/Manager.
3. People Management
- Promote a “One Family” culture aligned with CSI Energy Group’s core values of diversity, equality, inclusion, accountability, safety, teamwork, and positivity.
4. Reporting & Analysis
- Continuously report on HR processes, analyze data, and suggest improvements for site operations.
5. Budget Management
- Manage the site HR budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
6. HSEQ Compliance
- Ensure all office visitors and contractors undergo induction with the HSE Department.
7. Compliance
- Adhere to all HR policies, procedures, labour laws, and employment regulations.
- Promote compliance awareness through training and communication.
8. Other Duties
- Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word above average.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
