Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is currently seeking to recruit 64 Multi-skilled Operators – High Level Palletisers (K4). This is a great opportunity to join a quality-driven and safety-focused team at one of Tanzania’s leading sugar production companies.
Job Purpose
To consistently deliver to both internal and external customers by efficiently packing bales onto pallets and carrying out palletizing tasks according to established company standards.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate bagging conveyors safely and in line with task-specific safety procedures
- Ensure all sugar bags and bales comply with defined quality standards
- Identify and take corrective action on non-compliance issues as per procedures
- Accurately place sugar bags and bales onto pallets following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Follow work instructions diligently and accurately
- Meet cost, safety, and productivity targets by working quickly and methodically
- Communicate positively and clearly with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S standards
- Continuously improve and adapt work practices as necessary
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Control, Programming, or any related technical qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a quality-focused and performance-driven factory environment
- Experience working with Siemens PLC systems will be an added advantage
- Ability to read and understand SOPs and apply them to day-to-day tasks
Terms of Service
Successful candidates will be offered Permanent Contracts.
