Job Summary

The HSE Manager will ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards at the workplace. This role involves implementing HSE strategies, overseeing risk assessments, promoting a safety culture, and ensuring operational compliance with both local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE investment plans aligned with company goals
  • Monitor HSE initiatives for effectiveness and compliance
  • Conduct safety and environmental risk assessments across processes and equipment
  • Collaborate with production teams to manage safety risks during machine operation and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO)
  • Oversee safe handling and storage of hazardous materials
  • Deliver HSE training programs (PPE use, machine safety, hazard communication)
  • Promote safety awareness through campaigns, workshops, and toolbox talks
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain audit records
  • Lead internal/external ISO audits and manage documentation
  • Present monthly HSE reports and KPIs to management
  • Manage the annual HSE budget and analyze performance
  • Coordinate cross-functional safety programs and manage contractors’ compliance

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in the manufacturing or construction industry
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO standards
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
  • Familiarity with hazardous material management and safety documentation
