Job Title: Receiving Clerk
As a Receiving Clerk, you will manage the receiving process efficiently, ensuring that all incoming goods meet quality and hygiene standards in line with hotel policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify all received items against LPOs and ensure compliance with hotel policies and hygiene standards
- Physically inspect goods for quantity, weight, and specifications before acceptance
- Deliver inspected goods to respective departments and collect acknowledgment from the department head
- Review and validate supplier invoices for accuracy, completeness, and clarity
- Stamp and acknowledge satisfactory deliveries with hotel seal and authorized signatures
- Process supplier invoices using FBM software in a timely manner
- Handle reports such as Deviations Report and Outstanding Order Report as per hotel standards
- Weekly review of Outgoing Records (OR) for control and follow-up on missing entries
- Maintain an organized filing system, both manual and digital, with restricted access
- Operate safely and in an environmentally conscious manner
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies of the hotel
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a hotel environment
- Proficiency in English communication (spoken and written)
- Computer literacy is essential; knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is an added advantage
