Mwalimu Commercial Bank PLC is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the position of ADC Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of Alternate Delivery Channels (ADC) back-office systems, ensuring system reliability, compliance, and smooth transaction processing.

Job Purpose

Reporting directly to the Head of ICT and Operations, the ADC Supervisor will coordinate the day-to-day operations of ADC systems to ensure high uptime, effective transaction processing, adherence to security standards, and robust system integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of ADC backend systems for optimal performance.
  • Coordinate timely issue resolution and escalate unresolved system problems appropriately.
  • Supervise daily transaction processing, system upgrades, and reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report risks, fraud indicators, and system breaches.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Recommend process improvements for enhanced operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Liaise with IT, business units, and vendors for system enhancements and project implementations.
  • Maintain and update records of all system transactions and activities.
  • Generate and interpret operational reports to support decision-making.
  • Maintain data integrity and confidentiality across ADC systems.
  • Provide user training and technical support for ADC platforms.
  • Participate in the testing and rollout of new ADC features and services.
  • Perform system patches, backups, and ensure business continuity measures are in place.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in banking operations or IT systems management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ADC platforms, transaction processing, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
