CRDB Bank is looking for a dynamic and qualified professional to join its team as Manager Value Chain in the Business Performance & Revenue Assurance Unit. This role aims to strengthen value chain business by enhancing engagement with both existing and new bank customers across supply chains and aligning business activities between Corporate and Retail banking.
Job Purpose
To drive value chain business opportunities aimed at optimizing returns from corporate and MSME clients while fostering cross-linkages between different banking segments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Value Chain Management
- Track and convert value chain leads from corporate clients through collaboration with the Retail banking team.
- Recruit MSMEs within the corporate value chain by offering tailored banking products and services.
- Maintain banking relationships with value chain clients and ensure sustained engagement.
- Monitor lead generation, product delivery processes, and identify improvement areas.
- Conduct performance analysis and generate presentations for management insights.
- Expand and retain deposits through onboarding of related parties (suppliers, employees, logistics providers, etc.).
2. Stakeholder Management
- Partner with internal Relationship Managers to explore and close value chain opportunities.
- Conduct joint client visits and support execution efforts.
- Train and empower staff to grow business within the value chain framework.
- Monitor customers with concession rates to ensure compliance and increased bank profitability.
3. Customer Service
- Handle escalated customer queries and ensure prompt resolution.
- Build lasting relationships with key value chain players and influencers.
- Foster a customer-centric culture backed by people, processes, and technology.
- Track customer satisfaction through surveys, feedback tools, and service performance evaluations.
- Coordinate cross-unit onboarding efforts for a seamless client experience.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accountancy, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Relationship Management within a high-performing business unit.
- Strong background in structuring and managing financial solutions for value chains (e.g., agriculture, manufacturing, trade).
- Competence in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and business model evaluation.
