Bagamoyo Sugar Limited is currently seeking two qualified Laboratory Assistants to join its healthcare and diagnostics team. This opportunity is ideal for experienced medical laboratory professionals ready to support high-quality diagnostic services and enhance clinical care through accurate laboratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood tests, urine analysis, and microbiological cultures to assist in disease diagnosis.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results by properly calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Collect and prepare biological samples for testing while adhering to sterility and safety protocols.
- Assist in the detection and monitoring of infectious diseases.
- Record test results and maintain patient laboratory records for clinical reference.
- Monitor laboratory inventory, including reagents, supplies, and consumables to ensure uninterrupted service.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Certificate in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in laboratory procedures.
- Valid practicing license (FRP or ERP).
- Possession of NIDA and TIN numbers.
- Introduction letter from local government authority.
- Two referee letters (professional references).
