Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is a Limited Liability Company incorporated under the Companies Act (CAP 212) 2002, following the dissolution of the former Air Tanzania Corporation (ATC). The company’s core business is the transportation of passengers and cargo. ATCL is 100% owned by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.
As part of its 5-Year Corporate Strategic Plan (2022/23–2026/27), ATCL is expanding its fleet and route network while striving to remain the airline of choice for domestic and international travelers. To support its continued growth, ATCL is seeking qualified Tanzanian nationals to join its Cabin Crew team.
Job Title: Cabin Crew (10 Posts)
Minimum Entry Qualifications
- Holder of Form IV Certificate with at least four credit passes, including English
- Ab-Initio Certificate from a recognized aviation institution or equivalent
- Valid Cabin Crew Member certificate issued by Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA)
- Fluent in spoken and written Swahili, English, and French
- Arm reach of 212 cm while standing and an acceptable Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Must meet Cabin Crew Member Manual requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety, security, comfort, and welfare of passengers and crew during flight
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety and operational procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service as per ATCL cabin service standards
- Assist in achieving on-time performance and efficient cabin operations
- Serve as the communication bridge between passengers and flight crew
- Manage in-flight catering, materials, and equipment properly
- Report flight-related incidents to the Purser or Senior Cabin Crew
- Adjust to changes in duty rosters as required
- Collaborate with the team to address and resolve passenger concerns
- Oversee onboard safety, service delivery, and compliance procedures
- Collect and report customer feedback with recommendations
