Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer focus by providing accurate progress tracking and consistent communication to manage expectations effectively.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally, collaborating with Fleet Planning, Client Liaison, and Operations teams.
  • Supervise Project Controllers to ensure accurate journey management, financial control, fuel allocation, and trip compliance.
  • Oversee driver and truck handovers, driver disciplinary matters, and deductions monitoring in coordination with Operations Leads.
  • Ensure timely vehicle fault reporting, accident/incident investigations, and implementation of preventive solutions with HSSEQ leadership.
  • Monitor KPIs for Project Controllers, ensuring improvements are investigated and rectified per company procedures.
  • Diligently track trips and vehicle locations to avoid delays and ensure adherence to journey management protocols.
  • Ensure SAP and TMS management systems are updated correctly and timely.
  • Verify all trips comply with legal requirements, and necessary invoicing documentation is processed accurately.
  • Lead and manage assigned Project Controllers, administrative, and documentation teams; prepare performance assessment reports.
  • Support Operations Leads by promoting continual improvement and best practices, assisting planners, client liaisons, and account managers in securing cargo and client relationships.
  • Establish reliable contacts for clearances, government liaison, and client communication.

Education, Skills & Qualifications

  1. Minimum University Graduate Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent vocational experience in Transport or Logistics.
  2. LEAN SIX SIGMA certification (desirable).
  3. Project Management skills (desirable).
  4. Business Management skills (desirable).
  5. Safety Management knowledge (desirable).
  6. Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members.
  7. Excellent communication skills for clear and candid information sharing.
  8. Effective management skills for resource optimization.
  9. Proficient computer literacy to manage online systems.
  10. Strong administrative skills ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.
  11. Problem-solving ability to overcome operational obstacles.
