Job Purpose
The Regional Business Executive is responsible for leading and managing a team of Acquisition & Collection Agents, Installation Technicians, and Dual Contractors. The role oversees the full customer lifecycle, including acquisition, maintenance, recovery, and fulfillment, to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Business Management
- Implement acquisition strategies aligned with regional targets
- Organize and oversee field activities to meet revenue and acquisition goals
- Ensure timely and quality system installations
- Train and coach team members across functions
- Conduct regular team meetings and mentorship sessions
- Strengthen customer engagement through training on pitching, negotiations, and retention
Stock Management & Coordination
- Monitor and report inventory status to logistics teams
- Conduct physical stock audits and ensure stock integrity
- Account for stock in shops and third-party distributors (3PDs)
- Enforce asset management and HSE policies
Installation & Maintenance Oversight
- Coordinate installation and maintenance technicians
- Support recruitment of technical staff
- Monitor installations and maintain performance standards
- Ensure accurate commission payouts and handle disciplinary matters
Portfolio Monitoring
- Analyze portfolio performance and causes of deterioration
- Manage customer accounts with delayed payments through recovery strategies
- Provide timely reports and recommend remedial actions
- Conduct regular field visits for collections and customer follow-ups
Team Leadership
- Supervise acquisition and collection agents
- Handle escalated operational incidents
- Participate in recruitment, training, and performance reviews
Other Duties
- Promote health, safety, and environmental standards
- Execute tasks assigned by the Supervisor
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement across the region

Knowledge and Skills
Experience
- Minimum 2 years in sales and operations management
- Prior managerial and credit management experience is a plus
- Strong customer relationship management skills
Qualifications
- Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Microfinance, or related field
- Skilled in planning, organization, and team leadership
- Passion for coaching and development
- Excellent verbal communication in Swahili and English
- Willing to travel and relocate within Tanzania
Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable with computer and smartphone tools
