Job Title: Locally Engaged Information Technology Professional (LEITP)
Position Code: LE-01
Position Overview: The selected candidate will serve as the Information Management and Technology (IM/IT) Officer. This role is critical in delivering IT services and infrastructure that support the mission's operational effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in both English and Swahili
- A college or university degree with a specialization in Computer Science or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of experience providing direct Information Management and Technology support and coaching to users via:
- Video/telephone conference
- Microsoft Remote Assistance
- In-person within a Service Desk environment
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows products and devices
- Experience managing and supporting a Local Area Network (LAN)
- Hands-on experience with end-user computing devices including Microsoft Windows-based desktops, laptops, and smartphones (Android and/or iOS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint
