Eleving Group is an international financial technology company operating in 16 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. As part of our strategic expansion in East Africa, we are launching operations in Tanzania to strengthen our regional presence and deliver transformative financial solutions.

Our mission is to empower upward social mobility by offering accessible credit to underserved entrepreneurs who are excluded from traditional banking systems. By leveraging asset financing, fintech, AI-driven underwriting, and proprietary car portals, we help local entrepreneurs—motorcycle taxi riders, ride-hailing drivers, and small business owners—gain ownership of vehicles and grow their income.

Position: Head of Sales

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Head of Sales to lead our market entry in Tanzania. This leadership role is pivotal to building our presence, achieving sales targets, and scaling our customer base across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company growth targets while enhancing customer satisfaction and retention
  • Market Expansion: Identify and seize new market opportunities through innovative sales channels and strategic partnerships
  • Performance Management: Analyze key performance metrics and market trends to make data-informed decisions that improve sales effectiveness
  • Collaboration: Partner with both regional and global leadership to ensure alignment of business goals and share best practices

  • Team Building: Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing local sales team

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, client services, or account management—preferably within the microfinance or fintech industry
  • Deep understanding of the Tanzanian market, including regulatory and cultural dynamics
  • Strong track record in launching new markets, services, or products
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
