Areas of Responsibility
As assigned by the supervisor
Specific Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in accounting roles
- Strong familiarity with accounting systems and reporting
- Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
Key Responsibilities
- Verify vendors’ invoices for compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements
- Match invoices against purchase orders and confirm receipt of goods/services before ERP posting
- Post supplier invoices in ERP systems
- Assist in preparation and payment of VAT, excise duties, and related taxes
- Review and prepare payment plans and process vendor payments on time
- Assist in preparing and posting journal entries for monthly accruals and provisions
- Perform supplier account reconciliations
- Prepare management reports and schedules, including aging and DPO reports
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve vendor-related issues
- Maintain proper filing of supplier records
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance, including OSHA standards
- Adhere to the HC Group Code of Business Conduct and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shared Service Centre Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Sound understanding of International Accounting Standards
