Standard Bank is looking for a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head, Service Support. This position is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong background in branch operations, client service, and income statement management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing branch or point-of-representation (POR) activities and ensuring profitability through the effective use of people, processes, and systems.
Job Purpose
To manage and develop all available resources (people, processes, and systems) within the branch or points of representation to ensure a sustainable and profitable income statement and balance sheet. Additionally, the role aims to entrench a strong client-focused culture across the team.
Qualifications
- Education: First Degree
- Field of Study: Business Commerce
Experience Required
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in client coverage within personal and private banking.
- Proven track record in branch management including financial performance and all aspects related to sales and service.
- Possession of a relevant FAIS qualification and experience is essential.
