Purpose of the Role
The Key Accounts Manager will manage the delivery of Net Sales Value (NSV), Household Size (HLS), and Execution Units (EUs) for all take-home business channels, including supermarkets, convenience stores, petrol marts, duty-free, hotels, clubs, and style bars. The role involves developing and executing Key Accounts’ business plans (JUCPs) to achieve mutually defined objectives, profits, NSV, and brand growth targets. The position also supports growth in the On-Trade channel.
Key Responsibilities
Planning
- Develop business plans with key accounts, setting KPIs to increase RTM (Route to Market) value chain.
- Drive volume growth through both “push” and “pull” strategies in supermarkets and with consumers.
- Define and implement off-trade business strategies around a total alcohol, one portfolio approach.
- Identify emerging off-trade trends and develop innovative activity plans at the key account level.
- Develop CDOS (Customer Development Operating System) plans and align activities with brand opportunities across beer and spirits.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements in the work environment.
On-Trade Channel
- Build and maintain positive relationships with TLA (Trade Level Agreements) and RLA (Retail Level Agreements) customers and partners.
- Collaborate with customers to implement growth activities aligned with the Reserve strategy.
- Ensure the highest standards in brand execution through commercial and promotional activities.
- Manage and implement sales drivers: Quality, Visibility, Distribution, Promotion, Pricing, Persuasion, and PR (QDVP4) in both on- and off-trade outlets.
- Support capability-building and advocacy programs.
- Serve as the key brand consultant for Marketing to develop and drive trade activities ensuring brand objectives are met.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience, including at least 2 years as an Area Business Partner or Customer Relationship Representative.
