Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure new shipment pre-alerts are updated in the Shipment Status report within 48 hours
  • Update the Demurrage report promptly with new shipment information
  • Maintain organized records of all container interchange documents
  • Manage shipping line deposit accounts and ensure timely refund processing
  • Ensure containers are dropped off as per Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Follow up with shipping lines for timely issuance of Delivery Orders
  • Oversee archiving of all cleared shipment documents
  • Apply for demurrage waivers where applicable
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Shipping or Customs industry
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Ability to manage tasks under pressure
  • Effective team player with capacity to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Work Schedule

  1. Monday to Friday: 7:20 AM – 4:20 PM
  2. Alternate Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
