Job Summary

The National Institute of Transport (NIT) is seeking a qualified Flight Instructor II to assist in training student pilots. The role involves providing flight instruction, conducting briefings and debriefings, and ensuring students gain hands-on experience under supervision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in training student pilots under close supervision.
  • Conduct briefing and debriefing sessions for student pilots.
  • Support tutorials and practical flight exercises.
  • Prepare lessons for theoretical, simulator, and flight training.
  • Monitor students during flight checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced or Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education.
  • Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine (ME) and Instrument Rating (IR) in the aircraft category used for training (recognized by TCAA).
  • Minimum of 250 total flight hours, including at least 150 as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on the aircraft type used for training.
  • Flight Instructor Rating is an added advantage.

Remuneration

  • Salary Scale: FAVS 4.1
