Job Summary

The HRIS Officer will be responsible for managing and administering employee payroll and HR information systems efficiently while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. This role supports payroll processing, data audits, reporting, and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and administer employee payroll accurately and on time following company policies
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and payroll systems including job status, salary, and benefits
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR and payroll systems
  • Support month-end and year-end payroll activities
  • Prepare and deliver payroll and HR reports such as headcount, leave balances, and compensation summaries
  • Handle employee lifecycle changes such as new hires, terminations, and promotions in systems
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, benefits, and leave
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll processing
  • Assist with HRIS and payroll system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection policies
  • Review attendance and timekeeping records for payroll accuracy
  • Update and maintain standard procedures for payroll and HRIS operations
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate data and documentation
  • Stay current on payroll laws and HR compliance and implement required updates

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HRIS administration

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Understanding of payroll laws and HR compliance standards
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data reporting
  • Knowledge of web application development with ASP.NET and C# or related languages
  • Proficiency in SQL Server and Database Management Systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
