Role Overview

As a Child Protection Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of child protection programs. You will work closely with local implementing partners, Save the Children (SC) education staff, the Child Protection Sector Working Group, UNHCR, and other UN agencies to meet program goals. Your primary focus will be on the provision of Child-Friendly Space (CFS) activities in refugee camps, providing leadership, technical support, and administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Oversight: Provide overall leadership for the child protection sector, ensuring alignment with SC’s vision and program goals.
• Program Management: Offer managerial, technical, and administrative support to partner staff for effective program implementation.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Actively participate in child protection activities and meetings to foster collaboration between SC’s response and other actors in refugee education and protection.
